As I pursue my MLIS this blog has documented my thoughts from classes and interesting articles I've found, but now it will follow me as I learn about digitization. My project is to digitize 19th centuary pamphlets that will become part of a "virtual reading room". So here it goes...

Can you explain the difference between a URL and PURL again? Why would someone prefer to have a PURL?
This will not answer your URL question: Yes, Zotero is absolutely difficult to use. I don't know why you wouldn't work with Citulike alone, because I think it does what Zotero does, too. I did impress myself with my ability to export and import between the sites, though. Did you do yours? I don't see it....

Yeah I failed at finishing because I got frustrated. Every time I found something I'd have to type everything in and it got old quickly.
